Welcome to our nursery, a warm, happy and welcoming home-from-home where little ones are encouraged to learn, grow and shine. We believe every child is special and deserves to feel safe, valued and cared for. Our friendly and dedicated team create a nurturing environment filled with fun, laughter, friendship and exciting opportunities to explore, discover and develop.
We are delighted to introduce our brand-new baby room, thoughtfully designed with everything your little ones need to feel comfortable, happy and secure. With a beautiful, dedicated garden area that our under-twos can freely access, little ones have the opportunity to enjoy fresh air, explore nature and discover the world around them in a safe and stimulating environment.
Our preschool is well established and has been welcoming and supporting children for many years. With a wealth of experience, we provide a fun, engaging and stimulating environment where children can develop their independence, build friendships and gain the skills and confidence they need as they prepare for their next big adventure at school.
We are passionate about making every day a special one, giving children the confidence to flourish while creating wonderful memories along the way. Big smiles, little adventures and happy memories – that’s what makes our nursery so special!
Maidstone YMCA Loose has a well run, purpose built Day Nursery comprising of seperate Baby Room 3 months-2 years and Pre-School Room 2-4 years. Managed by professional and friendly qualified staff to ensure the best care for your child.
The Pre-School and Baby Room uses the Early Years Foundation Stage to help with your child’s social and educational development.
We are open Monday to Friday all year round (50 weeks per year – Closed Bank Holidays and 2 weeks over Christmas)
Day Nursery Sessions
Breakfast Club – 7.30-9am
Morning Session 9-1pm
Afternoon Session – 1-5pm
Tea Club 5-6pm
YMCA Day Nursery is in receipt of free early education funding for all children from 9 months to four year olds (depending on eligibilty).
The Government provides 15 hours free early education a week for all 3 and 4 year olds from the term after their 3rd birthday.
An additional 15 hours is available to working parents of children from 9 months old. We offer funded childcare places to all eligible children.
Funded Options and Chargable Extras
Government-funded childcare hours can be used between 9:00am and 5:00pm. This is divided into 2 sessions of 9am-1pm and 1pm-5pm.
Our Breakfast Club and Tea Club are optional additional hours and are chargeable, as they take place outside of the funded hours.
We also request a £15 consumables contribution per term to help cover the cost of items used by children during their time at nursery, including items that enhance their educational experience.
