YMCA Kids Drop-In Sessions & External Clubs for Kids of All Ages
At YMCA Maidstone, we’ve got your children covered with an array of exciting sessions and clubs tailored to different interests and age groups.
From Rollerskating, Karate classes, Basketball, Kickboxing, Dancing and even activities for our littlest ones, we have something for everyone!
Karate Classes
These sessions will now be ran directly by Chris Simpson.
Wednesday 4-4.50pm – Beginners Ages 5-14
Wednesday 5-6pm – Intermediate Ages 5+

Y-Kidz pitches now open to all kids!
Looking to get out and play with your mates?
For just £6 per person, kids aged 12-16 can now enjoy our 3G pitches during our Y-Kidz times:
- Mon-Fri: 3.30pm-5.30pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 2pm-4pm
- Bank Holidays: 10am-1pm
- School Holidays: 10am-6pm

Flair School Of Dance
Flair School of Dance is a much loved part of the Loose community having running classes for children in Street Dance, Ballet & Tap since 2002. We have made the Upper Hall in the YMCA our home for over 15 years now, a venue that is loved by students and parents alike due to its spacious amenities and friendly atmosphere.
Our classes run term time throughout the academic year. We are a relaxed and friendly school with an emphasis on fun and enjoyment above anything else. We make our opportunities available to all who wish to participate, with regular IDTA Examinations and our Annual Summer Spectacular Show at the Hazlitt Theatre.

Tuesdays
4 pm – 5 pm: Street Dance (age 4 – 7 yrs; Year R – 2)
5 pm – 6 pm: Street Dance (age 9 – 13 yrs; Year 3 – 6)
6 pm – 7 pm: Street Dance (age 13 – 18 yrs; Year 7 – 13)
Thursdays
5 pm – 6 pm: Ballet & Tap (age 7 – 9 yrs)
6 pm – 7 pm: Ballet & Tap (age 10 – 12 yrs)
Saturdays
9 am – 10 am: Twinkle Stars Ballet & Tap (age 3 – 5 yrs)
10 am – 11 am: Ballet & Tap (age 5 – 7 yrs)
11 am – 12 pm: Ballet & Tap (age 7 – 9 yrs)
12 pm – 1 pm: Street Dance (age 7 – 14 yrs)
1 pm – 2 pm: Ballet & Tap (age 10 – 12 yrs)
